Anniversary Songs can played at a wedding reception to honor wedding anniversaries. A special event can be made to honor all married couples at a wedding reception.
The Anniversary Songs Event
Can be started with inviting all the married couples to the dance floor. Then, remove couples by groups of 5 years at a time from current year. Once you get to 40 years, remove couples one year at a time until you find the couple that has been married the longest. Then, the music entertainer can play one of the songs below to cap the longest married couple in the room with a special dance.
For the couples selecting an anniversary song, we recommend to select a song that symbolizes your love with your time spent together. Your anniversary songs do not have to be one of the above songs. What about replaying your first dance song again as your anniversary song? There are many songs that signify an anniversary for the newly-weds to the young at heart like the Anniversary Waltz by Eddy Howard, Anniversary by Tony Toni Tone and Happy Anniversary by Kelly Morrison.
Many other songs signify love for each other over many years. Longevity anniversary songs include After All These Years by Journey, You’re Still the One by Shania Twain and You Decorated My Life by Kenny Rogers. Fun anniversary songs include When I’m Sixty-Four by The Beatles, and I Get A Kick Out Of You by Frank Sinatra.
If you are a young couple celebrating 5 or 10 years together, would suggest anniversary songs that proposes a message that there’s better years to come such as We’ve Only Just Begun by the Carpenters and Grow Old With Me by Mary Chapin Carpenter.
