We just updated a new “best of” list for weddings. We now have the best 80s songs for weddings. The list includes 100 songs with links to listen and buy at Amazon, a link to buy on iTunes and a link to view the lyrics. Click here for the top 80s songs for weddings. We will have the 90′s up shortly.

Free wedding websites updated

It’s hard to believe how far we have come. In July it will be 5 years and we started the wedding web pages in May of 2005. In that time, our wedding websites generated each month has grown tremendously. So much in fact that now we are getting bridal couples creating their wedding websites from all over the world.
This has prompted us to make a change in the locations on the wedding websites. We now have the option of selecting a U.S. State or a Country of the World. In addition, bridal couples around the world can become members of WeddingMuseum.com and now designate where they are from.
We have also added a category in the wedding website museum under the U.S. States for Weddings of the World. The web page will list all wedding websites created outside the U.S.
Another significant change in the wedding websites is that now you can have two different city and state locations for the ceremony and the reception. Honestly, I am surprised no one has contacted me about this as of today. However, I noticed the error when adding the countries. Old and new wedding websites now have the ability to add and edit their city and state locations for both the ceremony and the reception. This way you can list a ceremony in Las Vegas, NV and a reception in Butte, MT.
As for what else we are working on. You will see many more song lists in the near future. Check back in the next couple of weeks as you will be pleasantly surprised.

Best disco songs

The best disco songs is definitely a touchy subject as many people hate disco. I even saw an episode of the Biggest Loser last night and one of the trainers was wearing a t-shirt that had “Disco Sucks” on it.
However, many disco songs get people to the dance floor. We have updated our best disco songs list to include 33 songs. Best disco songs list is updated from time to time and includes links to the lyrics of the songs, links to purchase the song on iTunes and a link to listen and buy the CD on Amazon.
I am in the process of adding more songs to the wedding reception music so check back often.
Best party songs

It’s that time of year again. We updated all the song lists. All songs that can be found on Amazon.com now have a link to Amazon to buy the songs and just about all of them you can listen to a snippet of the song to refresh your memories. In addition, 99% of the songs have lyrics links to view what the song writer was thinking when writing the song. The song lyrics are listed on WeddingMuseum.com.
We added and subtracted 7 songs from our most popular top 200 party songs. I am a fan of popular songs that get people to the dance floor (being a former wedding DJ). Some of them cannot be found on many lists anymore but they are still crowd favorites. For example, the song Achy Breaky Heart is on the list as MANY people still line dance to the song. In addition, his daughter Miley is a MEGA superstar. Their current song Ready, Set, Don’t Go can be found on the father and daughter song list.
Our goal is not to list thousands of songs that you have to search through. Our goal is to list the “best of the best” to get people on the dance floor at weddings. If you think a song should be on the list, please click on the Contact Us link on the bottom of any web page. We will consider adding any song.
In addition, we list the best songs by music type: from country to swing music. To find a list of all the reception music we list on WeddingMuseum.com, just click on the songs link on the top menu of any web page. Also, on the main reception music page, we list the top 10 downloaded songs for the current month on iTunes.
We will be adding more song lists in the future so be sure to check back again as you will be more than pleasantly surprised.
