The receiving lines can be held at the church or at the reception hall.  When the receiving line is at the hall, it is usually when after the photographer has taken the formal pictures.  Some halls have a standard procedure they like to follow.  Please check with your DJ if you have any questions.  Receiving lines can be as few as the bride and groom, parents, best man and maid/matron of honor.
