After all the guests have gone home and the honeymoon is over, all you have left are your memories and photographs. You want to be sure what you expect is what you get. Here are a couple suggestions. 1) Hire a professional. Be sure to tell the Michigan photographer exactly what you want: color, black and white, formal pictures, any photojournalistic photos? 2) What are the different packages? Do you want the negatives? 3) When viewing a photographers portfolio, be sure to peruse ALL the photos of the wedding, not just the highlights.

Finally, it usually doesn't matter if you have Detroit wedding photographers, Grand Rapids wedding photographers, Warren wedding photographers, Sterling Heights wedding photographers, Flint wedding photographerss or anywhere else in Michigan. If you have a referral, please pay to have them come to you. A good referral is worth a few dollars in gas. Please don't disregard a photographer because they are not in your area. Just ask if they will come to you. If they will, ask if there will be a traveling fee. For more information about hiring a Michigan photographer, please see below for wedding photographer articles.
