We are a happily engaged couple that are eagerly counting down the days to our wedding. |
| HOW WE MET |
We met via a blind date. Tim lives and works in remote Alaska and I live in Juneau. A mutual acquaintance decided to play matchmaker. We realized immediately that God was doing something and took a step of faith. |
| THE PROPOSAL |
Tim came for a visit and arrived early in the morning. We stayed up together and I went to work. When I got off around 11:30, we decided to go to lunch and then to go play tourists. He took me to the glacier and, in the exact spot where we first held hands, he asked me to marry him. It was incredibly surprising! I was so excited that I nearly fell over! He had to set me upright and then got down on his knees. It was the most amazing time for both of us! |
