| Who we are now? | | Theo and I live in Arkansas together. We bought a house in May of 2006 on a fishing lake and love it very much! We have two dogs, two cats, and a bunny. I love to take care of them. Theo and I play softball together and love to watch movies and have fun. We have come a long way and are very excited about our future together! |
| How we met? |
| I was working with Theo's sisters at a pizza joint where he decided to come in after snowboarding on Schweitzer. He couldn't keep his eyes off of me, and I was so embarrassed that he thought I was so beautiful. Of course, I made a fool of myself, acting goofy and all even though boys didn't ever make me that way. I rambled about pickles and beets and who knows what else. I finally made it obvious by giving him a high five that was very flirtatious. :) We stayed up at Schweitzer that night with his sisters and some friends and had a wonderful time!! We spent about 15 days together and were in love almost immediately. After 3 months of being apart because of college and softball, he returned to me and we knew we could never be apart. |
| The proposal? | | Theo and I went on a cruise out of Galveston, Texas and cruised for seven days to Jamaica, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel. My dad John, mom Jeanette, sister Janae', brother Justin, and his wife Rayanne also came along for the ride and knew the plan. For my birthday, Theo had me pick out an excursion no matter the price. Of course, I chose to climb a 600 foot waterfall - Dunns River Falls and then swim with dolphins at Dolphin Cove in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. We climbed all the way to the top and Theo asked me to marry him. I was completely speechless, and all I could do was hug him! Of course, my entire family knew and when we returned to the ship, it was a celebration of tears!!! It was the happiest day and vacation of my life... so far! |
