| WHO WE ARE |
We are the couple that makes everyone roll their eyes because we are so great together... and we wouldn't have it any other way! Some of our friends even call us "Brachel" although Brett doesn't think it's fair because it is more Rachel than Brett. Most people tell him to get used to it! On a serious note- we found love just at the right time, and are looking forward to a happy, healthy life together. |
| HOW WE MET |
We started chatting on Match.com in late June, 2005. Our first date was on Friday, July 1st. We met at Bullwinkle's in Minneapolis, and walked to the Twins game from there. Let me say- I don't think that either of us remember much about the game! We talked and laughed all night, and it wasn't long before we fell in love and moved into a house in St. Paul together. |
| THE PROPOSAL |
It was the most beautiful Halloween that I will ever remember. Brett had dinner ready when I got home from work, and lit the first fire in our fireplace. We had our jack-o-lantern all lit up and ready to greet the trick-or-treaters with a toothless grin. I can't think of a more perfect setting for a proposal. Right there, in front of the fire, Brett asked me to be his wife! The rest of the night was a blur, but Brett keeps reminding me that he had to hand out most of the candy because I was too busy calling my family. |
