| WHO WE ARE |
Stephen and I are both seniors at Georgia State University, majoring in Finance. We are crazy in love and can hardly believe how blessed we were to have found each other. We have the sweetest tuxedo cat named Stash (Get it? "St" for Stephen and "ash" for Ashley!). We love to travel, meet new people, try new things and most importantly God! |
| HOW WE MET |
Though some of you may not know this, we met on Yahoo! Through a mixture of e-mails, instant messages, phone calls, dates and on campus get-to-gethers we fell in love. |
| THE PROPOSAL |
Stephen surprised me one morning with a phone call to get up, take a shower, get dressed and pack a bag. 6 hours later I found myself in the Ashville Mountains. I took Stephen up to St. Dunstan's Circle to show him some of my family history. St. Dunstan's Circle was home to my great great grandparents, my great grandparents, my grandmother, my mom and my aunt. As I was showing Stephen the homes that my family lived in (they were two houses side-by-side) he knelt down on one knee in the middle of the street, asked me to marry him, and slipped the ring on my finger!!!!! I cried and cried and cried and though I was too emotional to remember, I said yes. (I knew I meant yes, just couldn't remember actually saying that word). He is so GREAT |
