| WHO WE ARE |
Me and Joe have been dating for 2 years and are now engaged. We are so excited to let the wedding planning begin. Joe will be leaving in July for Bootcamp and AIT School for the National Guard, he will be returning in mid January I wish he could be here for our whole engagment,but that is a sacrifice we made so we can be together. We just can't wait for our wedding day! |
| HOW WE MET |
I used to be Joes Niece and Nephews teacher at school and I also worked with his Grandma and Cousin there whom I had become really good friends with,so I knew his whole family through them, but I had never heard of him. His grandma and cousin both told me they wanted me to meet Joe and I agree of course I had to make the first move Joe was kind of shy, so I met him at his house one night the weather was horrible so we stayed in and watched a movie. We didnt watch the movie at all we couldnt stop talking to eachother. We def hit it off the first night and have been unseperable ever since. |
| THE PROPOSAL |
It was my Birthday and we both took off of work to take his boat out to the river. We rode around and then took it out to the lake and anchored it down, we just laid around and talked and listened to the radio, then when we got hungry Joe pulled out a blanked and some food and we had a picnic on the boat, he even brought me a little cheesecake with candles, then I made a wish and he asked me what it was and I told him if I told him it wouldn't come true and he said just tell me and I said I wished that me and you could be together forever, and he said okay well stand up and turn around and I will give you your birthday card so he blindfolded me and when he told me I could turn around he was on his knee! My birthday wish came true! |
