Peter is currently working at Wis-Pak, which is a pepsi prodution co. And I am attending MSU, where I hope to get my RN. We attend Covenant Family Church in Mankato. |
| HOW WE MET |
My family and I began going to Covenant Family Church in March of 2004 where Peter and his family attend. Peter and I didn't actually talk that I remember until Peter's brother, Ian, decided the youth group should go to the YMCA to play basketball, about three weeks after I had been going to the church. So that is where we began to talk and slowly things went from there. So I would like to give thanks to Ian for that! |
| THE PROPOSAL |
It was on March 19th around 9pm at my house. Half of my family and Peter's parents got to witness it. AWWW! |

*As far as hotels go, if you are traveling from out of town we have three hotels with a block of rooms booked for wedding guests. All hotels are booked for May 31, June 1 and 2.
1. Microtel, which is a new hotel, fairly inexpensive at $69.00 a night with two queen beds in each room, and is about three miles from the church(Hillside assembly) and wedding reception area (Civic Center). To book a room at the microtel the number is (507) 388-2818 and the address is 200 St. Andrews Dr. Mankato, MN 56001. If you decide to stay at the Microtel you must guarantee your room by 4pm on 3-31-07.
2. The Country INN & SUITES is $85 a night and is also about 3 miles from the Church and wedding reception. These rooms must be requested by May 1st to hold your spot. Their phone number is (507) 388-8555, and their address is 1900 Premeir Drive, Mankato Mn. 56001.
3. We also have rooms booked at the Holiday INN. This location may be most convenient for you since it is right across the street from the reception area. It is however, a little more expensive. I do not have the exact information on this hotel right now, but I will have it posted as soon as I find it.
