| HOW WE MET |
We met through mutual friends. My buddy tells me that I really have to meet this girl. So one night he calls me and says he was at the bar Wiseguys and she was there. I was having dinner with Kristi and asked her if she wanted to come as well and of course she couldn't resist. We arrived at the bar and the rest is history, we are living happily ever after.
Now I will tell you Patricia's side of the story. Patricia's friend Michelle told her that she knew this guy that was charming, thoughtful, good looking, hard working, family oriented, and an all around wonderful person. And once again the rest is history. |
| THE PROPOSAL |
I picked up Chinese food on the evening of June 13th, 2008. I made it seem like it was going to be any other night in. After we finished eating I gave her a fortune cookie. As she slowly opened the fortune, she did a double take at the fortune, reading 'Patricia Rodriguez will you marry me?'. I got on one knee and professed my love to her. Of course, she said yes.
Later I told her that I promised Kristi we would go to her house to show her the ring. To her surprise, I had arranged for both of our families to be there to celebrate the glorious occasion. We drank, we laughed, it was one of the best days of my life. |
