| HOW WE MET |
We met at a bar called "Bull Rush". I was standing near the bar and a sleezy guy was talking to me, and I made eye contact with very good looking guy across the bar, and gave him the "HELP ME!!!" look. Before I knew it, Dustin got in between the sleezball and I, and we started talking. We exchanged #'s and a week went by and he hadn't called, so I called him. We went to lunch the next day (Oct. 13, 2005) and have been side by side ever since then. |
| THE PROPOSAL |
We went to Las Vegas, Nevada for a 3-day weekend together, to get out of our Las Vegas. The first night we were there, we went to the top of the Eiffel Tower and watched the water/light show down at the MGM. It was absolutely breathtaking. Beautiful. Then he got really lovey and started telling me how much he loved me, and how he cant imagine life without me, and all those wonderful things. The next thing I knew, he was down on his knee asking me to be his for the rest of our lives. I got really nervous and flustered and I pulled him back to his feet and we just held eachother for a long time. I finally caught my breath and told him that I would be happy to marry him and spend the rest of my life with him. It was the sweetest thing ever! |
