| Who we are now? | | We are both elementary school teachers in Las Vegas, NV. Matt teaches physical education and Amy teaches third grade. |
| How we met? |
| We met on the first day for new teachers at Marion Earl Elementary School. She thought Matt was talkative and cocky. He thought Amy was quiet and serious. So much for first impressions! |
| The proposal? | | It was the last night before Amy headed home to Vancouver, WA for Christmas. After exchanging presents, Matt said "There is one more gift". He then "popped the question". Obviously, she said yes but made him repeat it. |
