| HOW WE MET |
Patrick and Leann met on Match.com. Their first date was a bit uneventful, as Patrick got lost on the way and ended up showing up about 2 hours late! He was also wearing these awful green shorts, but Leann saw something cute in his smile and decided he was worth keeping around forever!
Their second date Patrick actually had to take Leann to the Emergency Room. They joke that's where they fell in love. Shoot them an e-mail if you want to know the whole story! |
| THE PROPOSAL |
Patrick took Leann to dinner at a very romantic restaurant near her apartment called Mitchell's Fish Market. After dinner they went for a walk across the Ohio River on the Purple People Bridge. They had been walking for a while and Leann was needing to go, but as she started walking faster Patrick asked her to wait up and turn around. When she did he had his hand in his pocket, but kept walking, so she asked him what was going on. He said he was nervous and confused and she asked why and he said that he didn't know what to say. She laughed and said 'Well, you're going to have to get unconfused because I have to go!' So he got down on one knee and said 'Leann, love of my life, will you marry me?' He pulled out the ring and slipped it on her finger and they shared a romantic kiss.
