| Who we are now? | Jessica is a beautiful daughter of a preacher in Ohio. She is full of life and full of love. She is a 2006 graduate of East Palestine High School. She lives at home with her mom and dad and younger sister, Melissa, who is 17. She has a brother Ryan,21 and older sister, Angie 23, who is married and has 2 baby girls. We knew that God has always had a special plan for her life since she accepted Jesus as her personal savior at the ripe old age of just "4". God has always had his hand of protection upon her. Jess is head strong and very independant. She is a hard worker, got good grades in school, including college. She decided to take a semester off with God leading her to Molova on a missions trip with Josh's sister Joanna.
Jessi loves the Lord and wants to live her life to glorify HIM. Joshua is a very handsome and an amazing young man. He is tall, dark and handsome, oh, did I mention that already. He is the son of a Pastor in Alabama, where they may live after the wedding and help at the church there. Josh lives with his mom & dad and younger sister Joanna, who is also registered on the web page.
Josh is a wonderful preacher and loves to sing about the Lord. Jessi was raised in church and grew up singing for the Lord with her family. I believe that together, THEY WILL MAKE BEAUTIFUL MUSIC TOGETHER, and make beautiful little "flowers" together someday too! |
| How we met? |
| Jessica met Joshua when they were very young. The family were friends in the ministry and since they were very young they had a crush on each other that they never knew about til recently. They kind-of had a love-hate relationship throughout the years. The families kept in touch somewhat and then Joshuas family came to our area and thats when they started to really notice each other. Although Jess had a boyfriend or Josh had a girl friend so they never got together, til well, lets just say that "GOD" was at work! They finally got together just before Josh and his family moved to Alabama this past Fall. They knew that it was GOD'S plan for them to be "togehter". |
| The proposal? | | Josh took Jess to Pittsburgh on their first real date. He took her to one of the nicest restaurants in Pitts. and then they road the incline. This was before Josh moved to Alabama. Jess went to visit over Thanksgiving and Josh came up to Ohio for Christmas and right away he took her out to eat and then up the incline once again, and at the top, he read a poem that he wrote for her, it brought tears to her eyes, and he knelt on bended knee and ask her if she would marry him. Without hesitation!, and tears of JOY she said "YES" and they are now having a great time making wedding plans !!! |
