| Who we are now? | | Amy - I am 32, I work at Farm Rite in Dassel as a bobcat mechanic.
Matt - He is 34 and works for Schwans, and loves it. |
| How we met? |
| We met at church, Matt saw me from across the room and his heart leaped and he almost cried because I was the woman in his dreams a couple years earlier. I thought Matt was very talented and I loved to hear him play the organ. I was looking for someone to hang out with and I thought a Lutheran Church goer would be harmless, so I called pastor and asked for Matt's number, he gave it to me (later did I find out pastor had been pushing Matt to ask me out). Matt actually turned me down. He called me a day or 2 later to set up a date. Ah Men! Our first date was at God Fathers and then we had a big bonfire here at the farm. Had a ton of fun. Whitney really liked Matt after he went climbing up the tree after her. |
| The proposal? | | I just got off the plane from London and he gets me home and I have so much jet lag that I am about to fall asleep. He has me read these really cool letters he wrote from the dog, and then one from him, they pretty much ask me to marry him, but that wasn't all, he sang a beautiful song he wrote on the guitar and afterwards got down on his knee and asked me to marry him. |
