All my life I pray for someone like you & I thank God I finally found you..
All My Life - K-Ci & JoJo

Who we are now?
Charles and I are both working full time and enjoying our first house. We are still getting used to all of the bills and can't wait to be able to actually buy the house and have enough money add to it.

How we met?
We met in college. My roomate was friends with one of Charles's friends and i remember the first time they every came over. After charles left i told my friend that i thought he was cute. Sure enough he found out and said the same about me. At the time we were both in other relationships so from there our friendship began. Charles and are were best friends for three years. We talked to eachother about our own relationships and had so much fun together. The flirting and friendship continued to grow during those three years until the time when we were both single and decided to give a relationship together a try. Charles and I were together for three years. We had gone through many ups and downs and definatley found out who we really are in those long three years. I think it was when we finally moved into our house that we both truly realized that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together.

The proposal?
Exactly one month after moving in together, Charles proposed. It was the day before Father's Day, June 18, 2005. His father and brother were visiting and my cousin Josh was here and i was able to meet him for the first in about 15 years. The rest of the family was over and we had a great day. Charles's mother was also on her way here but Charles just could not wait any longer. He made a speech to my family and then came over to me and got down on one knee. He propsed and of course i said yes. It was definately so special for me to have my whole family there. The ring was absolutely beautiful and Charles did such a wonderful job picking it out.
