| WHO WE ARE |
We are Megan and Joshua, and we are getting married on Friday, June 26, 2009. I am in school for respiratory therapy and graduate in May 2009 and Josh has his degree in Business Management and is employed at Key Bank in Amherst. |
| HOW WE MET |
We met through a mutual friend, Margie. At the time, Josh had a long distance girlfriend, and I wasn't about to interrupt that! About a month or so later Josh and his girlfriend broke up, and Margie set up where a whole group of us went to meet at the French Pub in Cheektowaga, and we have been inseparable since that night! |
| THE PROPOSAL |
We got engaged on April Fools Day 2007. Josh's WHOLE family and my dad and stepmom were all in on it! I was told that Josh's dad was flying in from Las Vegas for a surprise visit. So, as I was anxiously waiting his arrival after dinner at Mom's house, Josh and I sat on the couch and he gave me this big, gaudy ring. He had me convinced that that was my engagement ring! So needless to say I began feeling bad, and he said, "Well if you don't like that ring, then what do you think of this ring?" And he gave me a gorgeous 1ct white gold ring.....and, of course I said YES!! |
