| HOW WE MET |
We met at the Menaul School Homecoming Dance on October 9, 1999. I was a sophomore and Josh was a senior. He asked me out the same night. |
| THE PROPOSAL |
In June of 2003, Josh and his family invited me to go with them on a 7 day Disney Cruise to the Caribbean. Josh and I made reservations for dinner alone at Palo's, the specialty restaurant on the ship. It was June 9, 2003, and the evening of our first full day at sea. During the meal, Josh had the staff send a wrapped package and a light up rose to the table, then he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! Inside the box was a really cute statue of Minnie Mouse kissing Mickey Mouse, and they're standing on a heart shaped base that says "Shipmates". |
