| WHO WE ARE |
8 yrs in and we live together still with our dog Leila in CT. John works for a private jet company and I am a paralegal working for the state and starting school in the fall to get my Bach degree. |
| HOW WE MET |
We met at Comair. I was a ticket/gate agent and John was a ramp agent. John was helping me study for my test of all the airport codes. We were both dating someone at the time and both ended those relationships at the same time. |
| THE PROPOSAL |
It was June 25, 2010 and John had asked me to go to lunch with him. I said yes but my supervisor had me go early to cover someone else's lunch and I tried to get John but as usual he waits to the last minute to get ready :). So he meets me at Two Boots (a New Orleans style bar/restaurant in Bridgeport that serves really good pizza). We sit down and John asks me where the ring is that my mother gave me, and I said it does not go with what I am wearing. He taps his finger on the bar with the ring on it and says "how about this ring? Will it go?". Of course I said yes.... |
