| WHO WE ARE |
We live in Charlotte, NC. I am graduating on May 12, 2007 with a Master's Degree in Counseling and graduate certificate in Gerontology. I currently work at UNCC as a Social Research Assistant and will continue working at UNCC after graduation as I have been offered an excellent position in research! Jason is working at Embassy Suites Hotel and Golf Resort as a Banquet Supervisor. We take advantage of any free time we may have (that comes few and far between) by spending time with our friends and family and our cat, Koko! |
| HOW WE MET |
We first met in high school. We became really good friends all throughout high school and we both went our separate ways for college. I went to Appalachian State University and Jason went to University of North Carolina at Charlotte. To make a long story short, we reunited after we both graduated from college and started dating. We have been together since August 2004 and have known eachother for 12 years. |
| THE PROPOSAL |
Jason proposed to me in Boca Raton, Florida on May 6, 2005. After his plan A fell through, he had to come up with a plan B - which turned out to be perfect! Jason proposed to me in the jacuzzi of the resort we were staying at right before sunset....Absolutely perfect! |

We have a block of rooms reserved at Embassy Suites Hotel for the night of the wedding. If you need a hotel room for the night before the wedding, that can be arranged as well through the hotel. The cost per night is $89 (we got a really good discount!) which also includes an excellent continental breakfast (I'm talking not just donuts and muffins, but real food like cooked to order sausage, etc.) Each room can accomodate up to 6 people. To book a hotel room, YOU have to call the hotel. The phone number is 336-668-4535. WE ARE NOT ABLE TO BOOK THE HOTEL ROOM FOR YOU! It is suggested that hotel reservations are made by the beginning of May.*******************************************Jason and I are hoping to put a down payment on our first home within the year. In addition to being registered at Target and Bed, Bath and Beyond we will be accepting monetary donations.********************************************We look forward to sharing our wedding day with each and every one of you - thank you so much for being a very special part of our lives....******************************************Just a side note - for anyone feeling extra gracious - I'd like to add a Hummer to my wedding wish list! :) |
