| Who we are now? | | Today we have grown to be a couple that has tested the strength of love. During the hardest of times and largest distances between us, we have made a beautiful relationship. "Long distance relationships never work" was advice that our hearts did not listen to. So we now are ready to seal our love for each other this summer. As best friends we couldn't imagine being apart...no matter what distance between us...we are always together in our hearts. |
| How we met? |
| We met July of 2004 while Nathan was home from R & R from Iraq. Meeting eachother under the circumstances of him being in Iraq and me being in Pittsburgh was a tough start. But there was no way that we could get our mind off of eachother. So the begining of our relationship started long distance with 10,000 miles between us. It was actually kind of like an old fashioned romance story. :) |
| The proposal? | | I had no idea it was coming. Yeah we talked about it...but I was shocked. We took a walk down to the river front park that we sat at together when we first met. The place that we said goodbye to eachother before he went back to Iraq was now turning into the place that we decided to be together forever. He used to ask me a million times if I would marry him. But this was the day that made it official. I cried. I said Yes and here we are. |

I figured with how small our wedding will be that it would be nice to share our big day online. Sorry to say that it will ony be immediate family, grandparents attending the wedding. With my family in Ohio, and Nathan's in West Virginia...it works out better to have a reception in WV and another in OH. So please join the celebration of our big day at eiter reception location where we will have personal photo albums, goodies, and hopefully a video for everyone so no one misses out on our big day!
