| WHO WE ARE |
Who we are now? We're the couple waiting and preparing for the big day! We're very excited that we will finally settle down and build the family of our own. We're busy in preparation after the engagement party last Oct 14. Like 3 weeks ago, we already booked the wedding date and the church as well, we visited one of the reception venue and we will visit other reception venues this week. 2 weeks ago we went to our coutourier for my gown. We gave her the design I want but after a week I change it. By this week we will give her the new design. But inspite of our busy schedule, we make sure that we still have time for each other. We eat out, go to church together, watch movies, stuffs like that. |
| HOW WE MET |
We've been classmates from our high school years freshmen to senior high. I had a crush on him since we were in 1st year high school. We were not that close but when we moved in our new house and he started to get busy in school activities, he will go to our house and copy my notes, then kwentuhan. He use to be my tutor. :) Then on our 2nd year in high school he confessed that he's inlove with my elementary classmate. We became closer that time because I was their bridge. On our 4th year, I knew in my heart that he admired me. We became a couple when we were in college - December 11, 1997 to be exact :) |
| THE PROPOSAL |
The Proposal? Honestly, I've waited so long for the proposal. He proposed to me the day after my birthday - June 17, 1997 at 5:30 pm thru text message! Imagine... I really cried after reading his message saying " Honey will you marry me?" Of course I answered him back in all caps " YES!" He manage to say it in front of me and answered him back as well on June 18, 2007. October 5, 2007, he ask my mom and dad's permission for thr traditional "pamanhikan". We both decided to schedule the pamanhikan on October 14. At 12:30 pm of Oct 14, he brought along with him his parents, siblings, nieces & nephews, lolo's & lola's and relatives for the pamanhikan. They also brought lots of food, drinks, and of course the kwentos. Everyone is happy.. specially the both of us |
