| Who we are now? | | We are the coolest people you'll ever know. haha. But seriously, we are the perfect couple we've grown with each other over the past two years into the great people that we've become. We've been through a lot of crazy things in the course of our relationship, but have been made stronger because of it. Our love is strong enough to endure anything that life may throw at us and we will be sitting on our front porch when we're 163 ( actually he'll be 168 and I'll be still in my prime at 163 ) in our rocking chairs arguing about something stupid like how he didn't shut the cabinet door and think back to how we are now and realize that we are still the same except for the old wrinkly part, haha. Still in love, knowing that we made it after all... |
| How we met? |
| My friend Doc and I used to hang out at my cousins card shop. The first time we ever went my cousin tried to throw me out ( literally ) because he said I didn't need to be around the guys that hung out down there, at that moment we decided to go there every weekend. I started helping my cousin run the tournaments and Daniel played in them. I liked him when I first saw him but didn't think anything of it. He was friends with my cousin and was told not to talk to me. Well, we started talking and really hit it off. And that Sunday in 2004, we started dating, and despite a few twists and turns, and me running, it lasted. |
| The proposal? | | Well, there's been two, but I'll just tell ya about the first. It was Valentine's day of 2005. I had just gotten my wisdom teeth cut out the friday before. He picked me up at my house and there gave me a dozen red roses. Then when we got in the car he blindfolded me so I wouldn't know where we were going. When we got there he walked me in the door and then took off the blindfold. He had made me a candle light dinner of soft chicken stuff because my mouth was still sore, it was a very romantic setting to propose, and there was also a mix cd of love songs in the background, yeah like I said very romantic setting. But he chickened out there. So he finally proposed in the top room of my cousins card shop where we met, while down on one knee. |
