| Who we are now? | | Chris is a high school science teacher and Kari is a school psychologist. They both love the outdoors and spending time with family. |
| How we met? |
| Chris and Kari met while working together at a wilderness therapy program in Southern Idaho in 2002. Our first date involved Chris' first rafting trip and Kari's first attempt at rock climbing. |
| The proposal? | | Chris proposed to Kari during a backpacking trip in the Grand Canyon. The date of the engagement was June 27, 2007. It was a huge surprise to Kari that Chris had a diamond ring at the bottom of the Grand Canyon! |
