| How we met? |
We had both worked at domino's together once a long time ago. I was dating someone and he was just getting out of his first marriage. We didn't really talk much. But I knew of him, I'd been told stories from high school about him from my then boyfriend. Apparently this is when Casey first developed his "crush" on me! But being a gentlemen did nothing because he knew I was with someone. Well we both ended up quiting Domino's for a while and then first I went back to work for them. And I'd been there long enough to get myself in to a lower level management position before He came back. The Night before his first day back my friend and maid of honor and I went up to the Hurricane in Seattle for a bite to eat and just cause we loved to drive up there and hang out! Well we walk in and low and behold who do we run into Casey and his group of friends one of which being Joe, his best man, now I had made friends with Joe back when he worked at Domino's so I went up to say hi to Joe, recogonized Casey and said hi, we all kinda chatted and hung out that night. Then when casey came to work the next day or so he decided to talk to me. And the first thing he said to me was " You're naked!" I was like "what?!" he said I didn't have my belt on thus I was out of uniform making me naked! I combated with the fact that I had no belt loops so I don't need a belt! such sweet talkers we are huh? well after that we proceeded to flirt for a few days. Till my charming friend Heather decided to intervine and went to each of us and asked " do you like him/her?" when we both replied yes she spent the rest of the night yelling thru out the store "He/she wants your butt!" so mature I know! but hey that's Heather! Well some how he mustered the courage to tell me I should call him when I get off work and we ( me and heather should come meet them at the hurricane) and he gave me his number. so when I got off work Heather insisted I call so I did. And apparently shocked the hell out of him cause he didn't think I'd call. we
drove up and when we got there I sat next to him and he almost immediately thru his arm around me! after we ate we all headed home I went with him and sent Heather and Fluff home in my car. We stayed up all night just talking then in the morning he drove me home and kissed me good bye! And we've been together ever since! |
| The proposal? | | We knew we wanted to spend our lives together very early in the relationship. And all of our friends around us knew we were going to get married, probably even before we did. So we talked about it, or better yet I talked him into it! So one day he took me ring shopping. I found it.A few days later he sent me off to see a friend and snuck off to the mall and bought it. Then when it was done being sized he picked it up, took it home and hid it away till he was "ready" to propose. Now we had a bit of a game going where I would playfully interrogate him about if he bought it yet or not. I usually dropped it pretty quick, but one night I was feeling particularly fiesty, and interrogated him so hard I could have gotten him to confess to a murder! He kept slipping and dropping hints making me work even harder. Till finally I got it out of him that yes he had bought it and it was in the apartment somewhere. So I bartered a deal. If I could find the ring he would take me somewhere and pop the question. He cockiely agreed thinking he had it hidden so well! He also added the clause of "the ring box must be in my hand" Now for those of you that know me well you know I can't refuse a challenge and that I'm great at finding things(lots of expierience around X-mas time) It took me no more than 5 minutes to find where he hid it! I walked into our walk-in closet looked up then down. I noticed a Black metal box on the floor that I hadn't really remembered being locked before. I picked up the box shook it, and then turned and smiled at him as he pouted at me for spoiling his "oh so great hiding spot". but then he laughed and teased that I had to get the ring in my hand! I tried to pick the lock for a minute then "gave up" I put the box down and said "it's ok honey, I don't wanna spoil your surprise anyway" then I Kissed him and as I was distracting him with that, I slipped my hand in his pocket and stole his keys! He tried to get them from me, but failed. so he took the box. now I have no box but the keys. I sat down on the floor and was pleading for the box. all the while I was fidgeting with the keys finally I "gave up" again and handed him his keys. but not before I had slipped the key off the ring and into my pocket with out him noticing! so he put his keys back in his pocket, too trusting to even check them, put the box down and turned to leave the room this is where I sweep up the box pull out the key and unlock the box he whipped around just in time to see me open the box toward him and let him take the ring out. he put it in his pocket and said ok lets go! I told him if he's so bent on making it a surprise he can blindfold me and take me wherever he see's fit! so he did and he drove me to a cute little park in Steillacoom where we had watched many a sunsets! Now it was a beautiful october night with a full moon and clear sky! He gets me out of the van and guides me to a old wooden bench swing. (being sure to pay me back alittle by letting me stumble thru the wet grass a bit first!) There happened to be someone playing an acuostic guitar in the park, just to add to the romance of the place! well he sat me down and sat across from me. he removed the blind fold, pulled out the ring and ask me to marry him. Of course I said yes, or you wouldn't have just sat thru this whole story now would you have! then we kissed and enjoyed the moon light alittle then went home! |

| Comments To Our Visitors | * After the Ceremony there will be a small party where you can grab a bite to eat before treking back to Tacoma. This will be held at North bay Park in Ocean Shores. from 4:30pm - 8:00pm
