| Who we are now? | | Jason is a SGT in the Oklahoma National Guard and works at a Military maintains shop on Fort Sill in Lawton. As for myself, I am a college student at Oklahoma State University and when I am done, I will have a Double Major in both Agricultural Education and Animal Science. |
| How we met? |
| Jason moved in with my brother back in 2003 and one day my dad told me to go pick up my brother's mail from his new roommate. After that day, I started going over and hanging out with him as a friend. Then about a year and a half later, we had a small kiss on Halloween and that was what started it all. We started to watch movies together and talking then on December 1, 2004, we started to date. We were best friends before we got together and we still are and always will be. |
| The proposal? | | I picked up Jason at Fort Hood, we then we drove to the hotel in Waco, TX. We drove to Cameron Park, at the park, we stopped at a place called Proctor Springs. It’s beautiful there are trees with ivy growing all around! It has a natural spring so the sound of running water is so relaxing to the mind and soul. We both loved this place it was so relaxing. Anyways we walked up some steeps to look around then came back down the same steeps. At the bottom of the steep is this landing. So I stopped to look at the running water then Jason grabbed hold of my hands which caused me to step backwards and turn to face him as I did so he stepped forward and got down on one knee to ask me if I would merry him, I said yes before he could finish asking me! |
